A cardiac catheterization is a test which offers clear, accurate information about the heart and coronary arteries. Wuesthoff Medical Center—Rockledge performs more than 2,000 procedures a year in its three cath labs, and the only hospital in Central Brevard with fellowship trained, board-certified electrophysiologists – cardiologists who specialize in heart rhythms. Wuesthoff Medical Center Melbourne also has a cath lab/special procedures lab which performs diagnostic cardiovascular procedures.
