Heart disease touches nearly every family in this country, regardless of racial or gender boundaries. With nearly 81-million Americans suffering from this illness, heart disease remains the number one health problem and most costly killer for both men and women in the United States.
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one cause of death for females in this country. With eight-million American women living with the disease, estimations are that more than three million of those women will die from this disease.
