Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Wuesthoff Health System are proud to announce the organizations' newest offering of health care services – "The Clinic at Walmart" operated by Wuesthoff Health System. This convenient care clinic opened December 2009 in the Walmart Supercenter in Merritt Island, 1500 East Merritt Island Causeway.

The clinic provides fast, affordable access to basic health care services such as check-ups, immunizations, screenings and minor injuries. The walk-in health clinic is the first of five clinics (in Brevard County) to be owned and operated by Wuesthoff Health System. The clinic is open for walk-in service seven days a week.

In addition to serving the residents of Brevard County, The Clinic at Walmart offers prompt access to affordably priced acute and preventive care for common health ailments treatable without urgent or emergency care, including sore throats, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections, earaches, bladder infections, insect bites and stings, cholesterol screening, blood sugar testing, vaccinations, drug screening and routine physicals.

For busy customers who are seeking affordable, accessible healthcare, especially during evening hours or on weekends, The Clinic at Walmart operated by Wuesthoff Health System plays a key role in the health care system.

With the opening of this clinic, there are 50 in-store clinics in Walmart SuperCenters across 14 states. For further information about "The Clinic at Walmart," please visit www.walmart.com/clinics.
