Wuesthoff Health System is proud to introduce the Family Practice team of Drs. Nevarez and Soto. Hailing from Puerto Rico, these physicians have recently formed their own practice, First Care Family Physicians. "We’ve been together since medical school so working together is a way of life for us... it’s a joy to work with someone you trust and admire," remarked Soto.
Drs. Soto and Nevarez moved to Brevard County to be closer to family and Puerto Rico. They enjoy bridging the communication gap for their Spanish-speaking patients. "Being bilingual is especially helpful in assisting a growing portion of our population," said Nevarez and Soto.
Volunteering also is an important aspect of their life and they look forward to being involved with community events in the future. "I used to work with the homeless and I would really like to get involved with that again," said Nevarez. "They have special needs and it’s important to help people when you can."
